Demeter.

Now, there are certain smells I love. Rain. Grass. Pipe tobacco. The beach, with suntan oil carried on the breeze. All very lovely smells. There are many wonderful smells in the universe.

Demeter, http://www.demeterfragrance.com/, has a wide variety of scents- all available in bath oils and gels, sprays, colognes, lotions, and so on. The company's pretty great with the whole awesome scents thing.  I'll show you.

A few of my favorites:

Then there are, of course, the stranger smells. I wouldn't wear them, but I wouldn't throw a fit if someone else did.

Those are fine. You have your kinks, whatever. But why, for the love of God, would anyone create and WEAR scents like these?

One day, I may find out.

Dreams I Used To Have

When I was a little girl, I used to want a dollhouse. Fact.

As an adult, that dream is still there. Finding an old dollhouse, or -in my case- having your grandpa (who just so happens to be an expert in woodworking) build a house, isn't the problem. No, the problem is finding all of the random little stuff to put in there. Etsy has come to the rescue. The people on this site have solved this for all the adults like me :) Partake of all of the dollhouse-y stuff I found today.

Is this or is this not an epic win?

I think so.

Jewelry :)

There are only a few things in life that I proudly obsess over; things like fresh-cut pineapple, a steaming cup of coffee, or a good fanfic are on the list. Now, food-themed jewelry have joined the ranks.

It was a pretty, albeit freezing, day here in our small town. I was inside, attempting to stay warm with a comforter around my waist and a thermos of coffee in my hand. As is my nature, I was in the very middle of writing a story when I got bored with the task, so I turned my attentions elsewhere.

This is where Etsy comes into the story.

I didn't really have anything in mind, so I took a moment to glance around me. Besides the basset hound snoring at my feet (and drooling on my dress), the coffee in my hand was the most interesting thing in the room. Naturally, then, I started a search for coffee on the site. I decided to bypass the housewares, ceramics, etc and went straight to jewelry. Within a few minutes, I was elbow-deep (metaphorically) in all manner of food-themed jewelry and charms. I was in heaven. Everything was so cute!!! Below, you'll see some of my favorites.
